Hi, all my family, friends, fiends, foes and funky folks!

Let me get to the meat of this article quickly, please. Change in your life is like that uninvited guest who shows up at your party, drinks all your good craft beer, and then decides to rearrange your furniture. Sometimes, the new layout is actually better. Other times, you’re tripping over the couch for a week. The one constant in life, from the music we love to the careers we build, is that nothing ever stays the static. The trick isn’t to avoid changes — that’s impossible. But I’ve also learned that the space between a life-altering event and your reaction to it is where your power lies. That space is where you choose your personal mindset.

So, how do you flip the script when life feels like it’s on shuffle and every song that comes on is a “Bloodrock” tune, (look them up, if you want, they are a bummer)? Let me elaborate, please.

Step 1: Acknowledge the Suck…
